Digital Marketing Specialist, Entertainment Brand

Location: Hybrid (Los Angeles, CA)

Employment Type: Contract, 3 months, with high potential to extend further

Pay: $30/hr (w2), eligible for benefits!

Previous experience supporting digital marketing initiatives for major entertainment brands is a plus

Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support the execution of digital marketing campaigns for a leading entertainment brand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for entertainment, digital media, and content marketing who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, curious, and proactive. They enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, are comfortable asking questions, and thrive in a supportive team environment. Experience working within a Content Management System (CMS) is preferred, and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns across email, SMS/MMS, and owned digital channels
  • Build, test, schedule, and monitor CRM campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on audience targeting, approvals, and campaign deployment
  • Publish and maintain content across websites and digital platforms using CMS tools
  • Support digital launches and updates by managing approved creative assets and content
  • Assist with promotional activations, sweepstakes, and custom digital experiences
  • Support video publishing workflows, including YouTube and other digital platforms
  • Track campaign performance and maintain reporting dashboards
  • Assist with recurring and ad hoc analytics reporting, identifying trends and optimization opportunities
  • Coordinate project timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure accurate and timely execution
  • Provide general marketing and operational support to the broader digital marketing team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, media, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and digital assets
  • Familiarity with email marketing workflows and campaign execution
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Slack, and JIRA is a plus
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics is a plus
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills are preferred but not required
  • Entertainment, media, streaming, or consumer-facing brand experience is highly desirable
  • Previous experience supporting digital marketing initiatives for major entertainment brands is a plus
