Role Overview: The Ecommerce Site Coordinator plays a key role in managing the online shopping experience by overseeing product launches, site merchandising, content updates, and campaign execution. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products are accurately presented, optimized for conversion, and aligned with seasonal marketing initiatives.
Ecommerce Site Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute product launches, ensuring all assets, content, pricing, and imagery are prepared and published on schedule.
- Manage end-to-end product setup, including descriptions, categorization, linking, tagging, and merchandising attributes.
- Maintain and optimize site merchandising strategies to support marketing campaigns, product visibility, and revenue goals.
- Monitor product pages, category pages, navigation, and search functionality to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, planning, and production teams to support seasonal product launches and promotional initiatives.
- Coordinate product sample management for ecommerce photography, marketing campaigns, and public relations needs.
- Support photoshoot planning and execution, including logistics, sample tracking, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
- Serve as a product knowledge resource during shoots, ensuring accuracy and consistency across visual and editorial content.
- Execute promotional updates, markdowns, sale events, and site content refreshes.
- Analyze website traffic, search trends, and customer behavior to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in maintaining site standards, ensuring content accuracy and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Ecommerce Site Coordinator Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or online retail operations.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify is preferred.
- Familiarity with site search, merchandising, and analytics tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of photoshoot coordination, sample management, or creative production processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and customer insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
