Position Summary

A leading fashion brand is seeking a Director of Commercial Marketing—a sharp, execution oriented marketing leader who blends analytical rigor with a modern, digitally native mindset. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role sits at the intersection of performance, data, and go to market execution.

You’ll own catalog strategy, channel analytics, in channel performance marketing, and cross channel prospecting—making smart, fast decisions that drive commercial outcomes across wholesale, retail, and ecommerce. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who dives into the data, moves decisively, and consistently delivers results. What You Will Do

  • Own in channel performance marketing across paid social, SEM, SEO, affiliate, and emerging AI driven acquisition channels, making data backed decisions on channel mix and budget allocation
  • Drive customer acquisition strategy with strong command of CAC, LTV, ROAS, and overall media efficiency
  • Lead prospecting and retargeting programs by building and optimizing audience segmentation, lookalikes, and full funnel conversion paths
  • Manage lifecycle and retention marketing across CRM, email/SMS, and loyalty programs to increase repeat purchase and long term customer value
  • Manage and optimize the marketing catalog, ensuring product data is clean, structured, and high performing across channels
  • Build and maintain dashboards that deliver real time performance insights and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Own in channel reporting and proactively identify opportunities for spend reallocation and performance optimization
  • Oversee the marketing tech stack, attribution models, and data infrastructure to enhance decision?making and visibility
  • Partner closely with ecommerce and merchandising to align catalog priorities, channel sequencing, and sell through goals
  • Contribute to integrated go to market plans across wholesale, retail, and digital—translating seasonal priorities into coordinated activations
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Creative, Merchandising, Retail, and Wholesale teams to ensure tight, on brand execution
  • Think strategically about how AI and automation can improve marketing operations, from product data to acquisition workflows
  • Evaluate and implement tools that enable the team to do more with less while balancing human judgment with AI capabilities
  • Stay ahead of emerging platforms (including TikTok and AI native channels) and bring a modern, culturally fluent perspective to marketing decisions

What You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in performance, growth, or commercial marketing, with experience at both a brand and an agency strongly preferred
  • Deep fluency in performance marketing platforms and attribution modeling across paid social, SEM/SEO, affiliate, and acquisition channels
  • Strong understanding of marketing tech stack architecture, including engagement tools, ad platforms, and data infrastructure
  • Experience with core marketing platforms, including CMS and customer engagement tools
  • Proficiency with project and product management tools (e.g., Airtable, Jira, Asana), BI tools, and experimentation frameworks
  • Working knowledge of global data privacy and consent regulations impacting digital marketing
  • Digitally native and current—comfortable with TikTok, AI marketing tools, and the modern marketing landscape
  • Highly analytical and operationally strong, with comfort in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance dashboards
  • Exceptional communicator able to simplify complexity, translate technical concepts, and align stakeholders across business and creative teams
