Position Details
Role: Designer – Intimates
Location: Hybrid – New York
Type: Freelance (full-time hours with potential to extend)
Duration: May 11, 2026 – June 26, 2026
Pay: Up to $41.38/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: 40 hours per week

About the Role
This role supports the design team in creating commercially viable, brand-right intimates products across collections. The Designer will assist in executing seasonal concepts across style, color, print, fit, and fabric, while contributing to both the creative and technical aspects of the design process. The team focuses on a refined, fashion-forward aesthetic, requiring a strong understanding of lingerie design and construction.

Key Responsibilities
• Create commercially viable designs that align with brand direction and business strategy
• Develop seasonal product with a focus on style, fit, fabric, and color
• Produce design sketches, CADs, and prototypes with supporting specifications
• Update and maintain tech packs, including construction details and fit updates
• Incorporate feedback from fittings and cross-functional partners into final designs
• Conduct trend research and competitive analysis to inform design direction
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, and vendors throughout the design process
• Prepare materials for presentations, including mood boards, line sheets, and concept decks
• Maintain accurate product information and updates within PLM systems
• Support fittings and ensure alignment with design intent
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field
• 3+ years of design experience in a comparable retail environment
• Experience in intimates or lingerie design, with knowledge of corsetry construction and fit
• Strong understanding of the female form and garment construction
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Experience with PLM systems is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong commercial design sensibility

Preferred Qualifications
• Strong CAD skills, including coloring, print fills, and brush development
• Experience with technical design processes and materials specific to intimates
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage shifting priorities
