We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Product Development Assistant to join a fast-paced fashion team in Downtown Los Angeles.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career with a Product Development or Design background who wants to gain hands-on experience supporting the development process from prototypes through salesman samples and final handoff.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Track prototypes and salesman samples while maintaining development spreadsheets.
- Communicate product changes and updates across teams.
- Attend fittings and communicate updates to vendors.
- Organize seasonal books, TIPS, and cost sheets.
- Manage samples and prepare products for final handoffs.
- Create and maintain style detail sheets.
- Track and facilitate lab dip approvals.
- Send, receive, check, and distribute incoming packages.
- Maintain organized product files and folders.
- Complete PLM data entry and keep product information accurate.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in Product Development, Design, or a related area.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Product Development and/or Design background.
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Word.
- PLM experience preferred.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Comfortable tracking multiple samples, approvals, and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work fully onsite
