Position Overview
Our client, a growing organization supporting the clinical research and life sciences industry, is seeking a freelance Integrated Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of integrated B2B marketing initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for a versatile marketer who can turn business priorities into high-performing campaigns, compelling content, and measurable demand-generation programs. The Integrated Marketing Manager will work across content marketing, email, marketing automation, webinars, paid digital programs, social media, sales enablement, and campaign reporting.
This person will collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts to develop clear, engaging messaging for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research organization, and clinical research audiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong writing and creative judgment with practical experience in integrated campaign execution, HubSpot or comparable marketing-automation platforms, digital performance analysis, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns that support brand awareness, audience engagement, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
- Create and manage content across email programs, landing pages, blogs, case studies, social media, presentations, webinars, thought-leadership pieces, and sales enablement materials.
- Build and optimize email campaigns, nurture journeys, audience segments, landing pages, and automation workflows in HubSpot or a comparable platform.
- Partner with subject-matter experts to translate complex clinical research and patient-recruitment topics into clear, audience-relevant marketing content.
- Manage campaign calendars, stakeholder reviews, creative approvals, production schedules, and launch plans.
- Support webinars, virtual events, conferences, and trade shows through registration campaigns, attendee communications, follow-up programs, and content repurposing.
- Create or coordinate visual and video assets for digital channels using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Support paid digital programs, including LinkedIn advertising and search campaigns, through audience development, creative coordination, testing, and reporting.
- Monitor campaign and channel performance and recommend optimizations based on engagement, conversion, qualified-lead, and pipeline metrics.
- Use AI-enabled tools responsibly to accelerate research, content development, ideation, testing, and content repurposing while maintaining quality and brand standards.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a fast-moving, remote environment.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in B2B integrated marketing, demand generation, content marketing, or campaign management.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating email copy, web content, case studies, thought-leadership pieces, and campaign assets.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM-connected campaign execution.
- HubSpot experience is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of email marketing, organic social media, paid digital media, webinars, landing pages, and lead-nurture programs.
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable visual-content tools.
- Experience using campaign analytics to evaluate performance and make practical optimization recommendations.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, pharmaceutical services, biotechnology, SaaS, or another complex B2B environment is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with sales or business-development teams to support qualified pipeline growth is preferred.
- Professional English writing fluency is required.
- French-English bilingualism is an asset but is not required.

Location and Work Requirements
- Candidates must currently reside in Ontario or Quebec, Canada.
- Candidates must be available to work and participate in meetings during Eastern Time business hours.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
