Junior Account Executive – Beauty Focus

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an ambitious Junior Account Executive to support integrated communications programs, strengthen media outreach efforts, and help manage the day-to-day needs of client accounts. This opportunity is well suited for an early-career public relations professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and is eager to build a strong foundation in agency work. The Junior Account Executive will play a key role in research, writing, project coordination, and client support while contributing to successful campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of public relations and communications initiatives for assigned accounts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business priorities, brand voice, industry landscape, and campaign goals.
  • Draft press releases, briefing documents, status reports, pitches, talking points, and other client materials.
  • Conduct research on industry news, competitor activity, media trends, and relevant cultural conversations.
  • Support media relations efforts through list building, outreach coordination, follow-up, and tracking coverage results.
  • Help organize meetings, calls, events, and other account logistics with internal teams and external partners.
  • Track project milestones, maintain timelines, and ensure action items are completed on schedule.
  • Prepare accurate, polished, and client-ready deliverables with close attention to detail.
  • Contribute research and administrative support for new business opportunities and presentation development.
  • Share thoughtful ideas that enhance team collaboration, campaign performance, and overall client service.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
  • Solid research, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with media relations practices and an understanding of consumer and trade media landscapes.
  • Professional presence and comfort participating in team and client conversations.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to take initiative when handling assignments.
