Marketing Project Manager – Communications

Adobe Workfront Experience Required

Employment Type: Contract with potential for extension

Location: Remote/ WFH in CST or EST, U.S.-based

Pay: $31-$35/hr DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager – Communications to support high-volume, time-sensitive member and provider communications within a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has experience managing marketing communications projects, campaign operations, and complex approval workflows. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Workfront.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake, prioritization, and tracking of communication requests in Workfront.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, documentation, and status updates.
  • Update and refine communication templates and content.
  • Coordinate legal, compliance, privacy, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Conduct proofreading, quality assurance, and deployment-readiness checks.
  • Manage production handoffs and timelines with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support post-deployment corrections, issue resolution, and escalations.
  • Provide project support for disruption and onboarding communication initiatives.
  • Track KPIs and prepare reporting for business reviews.
  • Participate in knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing project management, marketing communications, campaign operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, financial services, or another regulated environment.
  • Workfront experience is required.
  • Experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven communications or transactional campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating legal, compliance, privacy, and cross-functional approval processes.
  • Strong proofreading, quality assurance, and content-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting member, patient, provider, or customer communications.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or insurance terminology and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with external production or deployment partners.
  • Knowledge of campaign reporting, KPI tracking, and business-review preparation.
