Title: Medical Director
Our client is a leading ad agency hiring a Lead Medial Director on a freelance basis.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in healthcare advertising and/or medical education, with a strong background in medicine or biological sciences. A higher education degree such as a PhD, MD, or PharmD is preferred.

Location: Hybrid in NYC
Duration: ongoing freelance
Rate $70-75/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Review consumer/DTC projects and messaging to ensure medical accuracy and compliance with MLR standards.
• Provide insights and rationale during MLR or client calls.
• Make strategic recommendations to enhance messaging in alignment with client objectives.
• Assess and inform strategic approaches to workstreams from a medical perspective, ensuring sound and accurate medical strategy.
• Collaborate with creative teams to guide content development that is both on-strategy and compliant.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of clinical data and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively guide creative teams.
