Our client, a private label design and manufacturing company, is looking to hire an Operations Coordinator, supports the daily execution of customer operations, ensuring orders move accurately and on schedule from entry through production, delivery, and shipment. This role partners with internal teams and third-party logistics providers to maintain current order information, monitor critical deadlines, resolve discrepancies, and communicate timely operational updates.
Employment Type: Full-Time, direct hire.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Operations
- Manage daily operational activities for assigned customer accounts.
- Monitor start-ship dates, delivery windows, order requirements, and customer deadlines.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date customer order records.
- Communicate order status updates and operational information as needed.
- Identify potential delays, discrepancies, or risks and escalate them promptly.
Sales Order Management
- Enter customer sales orders accurately and within required timelines.
- Review purchase orders for quantities, pricing, dates, shipping instructions, and required documentation.
- Process approved changes to customer orders and maintain organized supporting records.
- Ensure order details are complete and aligned across business systems.
Production Coordination
- Create and release production orders based on approved customer orders and internal direction.
- Confirm production quantities, timelines, and key order details are accurately recorded.
- Maintain production-order documentation and update records when approved changes occur.
- Track production delivery timing against customer shipping and delivery commitments.
- Follow up with internal partners on production status and anticipated completion dates.
Logistics and Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate daily order release, shipment, and delivery activities with third-party logistics partners.
- Provide approved order, shipping, and delivery details to logistics providers.
- Monitor shipment timing and delivery status, maintaining accurate shipment records.
- Report shipment discrepancies, execution concerns, and missed milestones to leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations, order entry, logistics, production coordination, customer service, or related role.
- Experience in apparel, consumer products, wholesale, retail, or a similar product-driven environment.
- Working knowledge of sales orders, purchase orders, production orders, and shipping documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, orders, deadlines, and changing requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow established processes while recognizing and escalating issues quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and business operating systems.
- Experience using ERP systems, customer portals, warehouse systems, or related tools.
