Packaging Designer

We are seeking a strong, mid-to-senior level Packaging Designer to support the development of packaging across a broad range of consumer product categories. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a designer who is comfortable balancing creative concepting with detailed production execution.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in packaging design, including dielines, product specifications, copy development, photography direction, and the use of AI-generated imagery. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to create clear, compelling, and production-ready packaging solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Design packaging across categories including seasonal, home furnishings, apparel, domestics, cookware, and hardware.
• Create and revise dielines, layouts, packaging copy, and product specifications.
• Incorporate photography and AI-generated imagery into packaging concepts and final designs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets brand, product, and production requirements.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven packaging design experience in a consumer product environment.
• Strong knowledge of dielines, print production, typography, and layout.
• Ability to develop packaging from initial concept through final production files.
• Experience working across multiple product categories and managing a fast-paced workload.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
