Production Artist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Production Artist with strong packaging and retail experience to support the development and execution of high-quality packaging across a growing consumer beauty portfolio. This hands-on role is ideal for a production expert who understands technical packaging requirements and can create accurate, production-ready artwork for leading retail environments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, and release production-ready packaging artwork across multiple product lines and SKUs.
- Create and manage mechanicals, dielines, print specifications, bleeds, color builds, and final production files.
- Ensure artwork is accurate, on-brand, and compliant with printer, vendor, and retailer requirements.
- Review proofs and samples; identify artwork issues and coordinate revisions with print and packaging partners.
- Collaborate with design, brand, marketing, product development, and external production vendors.
- Maintain organized artwork archives, version control, and production documentation.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, packaging updates, line extensions, and seasonal launches with exceptional attention to detail.
- Support retailer-specific packaging requirements and technical standards.
Qualifications

3+ years of production art or packaging production experience, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, CPG, or consumer products.
- Strong experience preparing packaging artwork and mechanical files for print.
- Experience supporting packaging for major retail channels is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of dielines, prepress, color management, typography, print processes, and packaging specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and file-management discipline.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience partnering with printers, packaging vendors, and internal stakeholders.
