Sales Operations Manager/ Analyst

Position Summary
Lead sales planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis for an omni-channel consumer products organization. Partner with commercial and cross-functional teams to convert sales and inventory data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Own sales forecasts, targets, recurring performance reporting, and business recaps.
- Analyze sales, shipments, inventory, customer, territory, location, and SKU performance.
- Identify trends, risks, gaps, and growth opportunities across channels and accounts.
- Support promotional planning, product launches, event analysis, and inventory monitoring.
- Maintain sales master data, reporting inputs, customer assignments, and assortments.
- Improve reporting accuracy, data governance, automation, and process consistency.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to sales leadership and business partners.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales operations, commercial planning, business analytics, or a related consumer products or retail function.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, sales performance metrics, inventory management, and retail reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools, dashboards, automation, or data visualization.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, practical business recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced freelance engagement.
