Job description

Onsite in Woodbridge, Ontario.

We’re seeking a Senior Wedding Gown Designer to join a luxury bridal fashion house known for its refined, romantic, and fashion-forward aesthetic. This is a key leadership opportunity for a highly creative designer with strong conceptual vision and deep technical expertise in bridal or eveningwear.

In this role, you will lead the design and development of seasonal bridal collections from initial concept through production. You’ll translate trend research and sales insights into innovative silhouettes, draping, and sketch concepts, while partnering closely with leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams on fabrics, trims, embellishments, and overall development strategy. You’ll also oversee fittings, tech packs, BOMs, embroidery layouts, and final approvals, while helping guide and mentor a collaborative design team in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and development of seasonal bridal collections from concept through production
  • Research fashion trends and interpret sales insights to create fresh, market-relevant design concepts
  • Develop silhouettes, draping, sketches, and embellishment ideas aligned with the brand aesthetic
  • Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and internal teams on fabrics, trims, and development strategy
  • Oversee fittings, sample reviews, tech packs, BOMs, embroidery layouts, and final approvals
  • Partner with patternmakers and production teams to ensure designs are executed to the highest standard
  • Help manage timelines, shifting priorities, and team collaboration across the design process
  • Mentor and support a collaborative design team within a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of bridal or eveningwear design experience
  • Strong expertise in draping, garment construction, fabric development, and embellishment
  • Excellent eye for silhouette, proportion, color, and detail
  • Strong technical knowledge of design development from concept to production
  • Ability to lead projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate about craftsmanship, innovation, and creating exceptional bridal collections.
