Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead content strategy, creation, editing, and publishing for a high-profile celebrity brand. This role will work closely with the VIP talent to create elevated, Instagram-first content across Reels, carousels, Stories, TikTok, and branded partnerships.
We’re looking for someone who truly understands celebrity personality and audience-building, someone who lives and breathes social, understands Meta/Instagram algorithms and trends, and knows how to translate trending concepts into elevated, personality-driven content that feels authentic to the talent and brand.
This person will collaborate directly with talent to understand their voice, audience, and aesthetic, then develop weekly content ideas rooted in trends, culture, and branded sponsorship opportunities. From there, talent will select concepts to produce together. The ideal candidate knows how to spot a trend, adapt it, and make it feel original and aligned to the celebrity’s personality and brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop trend-driven and brand partnership content ideas tailored to the celebrity’s voice, audience, and personality
• Create shot lists, scripts, captions, and creative direction for social content
• Shoot, edit, review, revise, and publish elevated social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and carousels
• Collaborate directly with talent on edits, notes, approvals, and creative refinement
• Understand when a moment works better as a carousel vs. Reel and optimize content accordingly
• Partner on sponsorship and branded content execution with a refined, premium creative approach
• Maintain a polished visual aesthetic with strong instincts for editing, pacing, coloring, and overall look/feel
• Stay highly informed on Meta insights, platform algorithms, audience behavior, and evolving social trends
• Be mindful and thoughtful around audience sensitivity, internet perception, and high-visibility content environments
• Occasionally travel for events, campaigns, and content capture opportunities
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years in social media, content creation, or digital publishing
• Celebrity/talent-facing experience required
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Meta, Reels, carousels, and platform growth strategy
• Advanced editing skills with an elevated visual eye and “director’s eye” for storytelling and aesthetics
• Experience creating polished lifestyle, luxury, entertainment, or creator-led content
• Strong instincts around internet culture, audience perception, and social nuance
• Comfortable writing captions and scripts in the celebrity’s authentic voice
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, organized, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Passion for social media, storytelling, trends, and elevated digital content
