Sr Client Development Manager (Agency)

Location: Remote – east or central time zone based preferred

We are seeking a strategic, client-focused Senior Client Dev Manager to drive new business growth, deepen account relationships, and lead high-impact partnership development efforts. This full-time role is ideal for someone who excels at consultative selling, enterprise account development, and building long-term relationships that create meaningful business value. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, leading proposal and pitch processes, and ensuring a smooth transition from business development into ongoing client delivery.

In this position, you will cultivate and expand strategic client relationships, qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, and create thoughtful account strategies that support growth and retention. You will collaborate across teams to develop compelling proposals, support cross-sell initiatives, improve internal processes, and maintain strong CRM discipline. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to prospecting, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to align client needs with creative and marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Lead proposal development, pitch coordination, and seamless handoff to internal teams.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Evaluate inbound leads to determine fit, scope, budget, and growth potential.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and support broader account growth initiatives.
  • Create account strategies that align client goals with business and creative solutions.
  • Drive long-term retention and revenue growth through thoughtful relationship management.
  • Contribute to process optimization, pipeline tracking, CRM accuracy, and go-to-market efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience growing and managing client accounts or business development relationships.
  • 3+ years of experience in a creative agency, marketing, branding, or related environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.
  • Experience winning and expanding medium to large enterprise-level accounts.
  • Proven success converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
  • Genuine interest in design, creativity, branding, and marketing-led work.
  • Excellent consultative selling, communication, and closing skills.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Base salary + commission + benefits
