Overview
A leading, fast-growing beauty brand is seeking a Senior Demand Planning Manager to support its Americas business on a short-term freelance basis. This role will own demand forecasting and inventory planning while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate can step in quickly and operate with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Own sales and inventory forecasting across accounts, with a focus on retailer-level planning
- Lead demand review processes and present forecast updates, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders
- Manage weekly inventory plans, tracking sell-through, weeks of supply, and trends
- Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts incorporating marketing, launch, and promotional plans
- Partner with retail teams to support newness, launches, and Open-to-Buy planning
- Analyze forecast accuracy and develop corrective action plans
- Support ad hoc “what-if” scenario planning and executive requests
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, and Inventory teams
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or Supply Chain Planning

Direct Sephora experience required (makeup and/or fragrance preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modeling)
- Experience managing multi-level forecasts and Open-to-Buy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Beauty, FMCG, or consumer products background preferred
- Experience with demand planning tools/systems is a plus
