One of our large shopper/CPG agency client is looking a Senior Project Manager to support several well-known CPG brands.
This freelance opportunity calls for an experienced agency project manager who can lead day-to-day business, drive timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide polished client-facing leadership across shopper marketing and retail media initiatives
Ideal Sr. Project Manager candidates will have:
– Agency project management experience within CPG, shopper marketing, and retail media required.
– BA degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related field.
– At least 5+ years of marketing or advertising experience, ideally within an agency environment focused on retailer promotions.
– Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking and managing the day-to-day business of Shopper Marketing programs.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
– Strong decision-making skills grounded in agency, client, and industry knowledge.
– Advanced computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Proven ability to manage time effectively, adhere to strict timelines, and perform well under pressure.
Job Responsibilities:
– Lead projects with a strong focus on client communication, executive visibility, and polished day-to-day project leadership.
– Manage timelines, deliverables, priorities, and expectations across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
– Apply strategic thinking and risk management to proactively identify challenges, recommend solutions, and keep work moving forward.
– Support shopper marketing and retail media programs for major CPG brands in a fast-paced agency environment.
– Partner closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects stay on track, on brief, and aligned with business goals.
– Maintain strong organization across deliverables, feedback, project documentation, and shifting priorities.
– Use sound judgment informed by agency, client, and industry knowledge to make effective day-to-day decisions.
– Work efficiently under pressure while balancing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
