VP, Global Social – North America

Role Summary
Lead social strategy, content, and channel performance across North America, driving brand growth through owned, earned, and creator-powered social media. This senior leadership role partners closely with global social leadership on strategic priorities and executive-level initiatives while serving as a key regional leader within a high-performing global social organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the North America social content calendar and channel strategy across major platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, and Pinterest.
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional team spanning content, community management, and channel operations across the United States and Canada.
- Manage a multi-million-dollar creator and influencer investment portfolio, including agency partnerships, platform selection, and supporting tools and systems.
- Partner with creator commerce, analytics, and creative teams to execute full-funnel social campaigns supporting new product launches and growth initiatives.
- Lead regional initiatives focused on viral content velocity, full-funnel activation, and creative and influencer performance.
- Oversee crisis response, social listening, and reputation management in partnership with global analytics and communications stakeholders.
- Establish clear operating models and ownership boundaries with adjacent functions such as direct-to-consumer, public relations, and marketing.
- Report regional performance, business insights, and investment recommendations to senior global leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing, including 4+ years in a people leadership role.
- Agency-side experience required; experience supporting large, social-first consumer brands strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in influencer and creator marketing, including ownership of significant budgets and external partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience managing creator agencies, creator platforms, and related technology ecosystems.
- Proven ability to scale branded social content and deliver measurable commercial impact.
- Experience leading teams and programs across United States and Canadian markets.
- Strong cross-functional influence skills and comfort operating within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Background in consumer products, direct-to-consumer, retail, or consumer technology environments preferred.
