In this role, you will help bring distinctive hard goods concepts to life across eyewear and other product categories. Responsibilities:

- Perform surfacing, extraction, curvature analysis, and radius development throughout the design process
- Produce rough prototypes through 3D printing or casting methods for internal review and approval
- Incorporate rapid revisions and feedback to move concepts toward final approval
- Generate detailed 2D drawings and profiles from 3D CAD files for manufacturing and internal communication
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners while remaining open to feedback, direction, and coaching
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of industry experience out of eyewear, jewelry, toys, medical devices, aerospace, or other hard goods environments
- Advanced expertise in Rhino, including SubD and NURBS surfacing
- Experience transforming undeveloped 2D concepts into polished, production-aware 3D models
- Background in industrial design, product development, or CAD development for physical products
- Strong understanding of surface continuity, curvature, radius control, and model refinement
- Ability to generate precise 2D technical drawings from 3D CAD files
