Amazon Operations Coordinator

Pay: $28-30/hour
2–3 years of experience in digital retail, ecommerce operations, or marketplace support roles.
Ability to work 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST // 12-8pm UK time to allow some overlap with US and UK hours for meetings.
Client Overview: Our client is a fast-growing consumer brand looking to strengthen its digital retail presence across major marketplaces. They are focused on delivering operational excellence across platforms like Amazon and other leading online retailers, ensuring product listings, launches, and day-to-day marketplace operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Role Overview: We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Amazon Operations Coordinator to support the execution, optimization, and operational performance of multiple digital retail channels, including Amazon and other major marketplaces. This role will focus on maintaining catalog accuracy, supporting product launches, coordinating marketplace content, and ensuring operational issues are identified and resolved quickly.
Amazon Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product catalogs across multiple digital retail platforms
- Manage SKU lifecycle updates, including parent/child variations and packaging transitions
- Monitor product detail pages to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and merchandising standards
- Support product launches by coordinating copy, imagery, and listing assets
- Write and adapt marketplace-specific product copy aligned with brand and retailer guidelines
- Coordinate localized content updates for international marketplaces
- Assist with the creation and implementation of enhanced content such as A+ pages and Brand Stores
- Manage product imagery and assets, ensuring they meet marketplace formatting and quality requirements
- Monitor and resolve listing suppressions related to pricing, content, or compliance issues
- Track pricing adjustments and ensure timely updates or reversions
- Identify anomalies in listings, pricing, or availability and escalate when necessary
- Support reporting and operational data pulls for marketplace performance tracking
- Monitor reviews, returns, and customer feedback to identify operational insights and improvement opportunities
- Help document and improve internal processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Amazon Operations Coordinator Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of experience in digital retail, ecommerce operations, or marketplace support roles
- Experience managing product catalogs and operational execution across online marketplaces
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is a strong plus (but not required if you have experience with platforms such as Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, or similar)
- Proven ability to coordinate product launches across multiple teams, including creative, operations, and external partners
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different marketplace requirements
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, creative, operations, and external agencies
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
