Job Title: App Strategist III
Location: Cupertino, CA- hybrid schedule

1. Strategy – Our client’s team creates end-to-end digital customer experience strategies for online shopping touch points. This resource will need to leverage relevant customer insights and trends to creatively ideate and develop business requirements for new app features and experiences.
2. Storytelling – All forms of communication are critical here, but someone with masterful Keynote skills that can craft an engaging and visually appealing narrative would be a huge asset.
3. Analysis – Strong qualitative and quantitative abilities to assess large amounts of complex data and distill it into insightful takeaways are a must.
As part of the Digital Experience & Expansion team, you’ll help shape and optimize e-commerce strategies across our client’s website and app, with a focus on the fast-growing Store app. In this analyst role, you’ll enhance customer experiences while managing day-to-day operations—ranging from analysis and reporting to marketing activation planning. Responsibilities include auditing customer behavior and current experiences, and identifying actionable opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
As an app strategist and program manager for Retail Online you will:
• Analyze and compile app trends and insights from quantitative and qualitative inputs, crafting coherent narratives for executive audiences
• Develop and bring-to-life an app growth marketing strategy, increasing user awareness and adoption.
• Conduct external industry benchmarking research, identifying relevant inspiration and opportunities to stitch back
• Represent a business and customer experience point of view on a variety of capital projects, defining our strategy for new app features
• Help create and present strategic briefs and presentations to document business priorities, opportunities, and performance
• Regularly measure and report on program performance. Plus create financial business cases
• Act as a digital experience liaison with core cross-functional partners, including Product, Marcom, Merchandising, and others, providing actionable feedback and supporting the efficient delivery of a variety of app-centric projects
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience working in a strategy or customer experience function
• Experience in, deep knowledge of, and passion for the global retail or e-commerce B2C industry, ideally in the tech sector. Proven track record in gifting, strategy consulting and/or gifting also ideal.
• Ability to simultaneously operate both strategically and tactically, proactively sweating the details, while not losing sight of the big picture and customer centricity
• Demonstrated analytical/reporting skills, including creating clear visualizations. Should have a knack for uncovering root causes and simplifying complexity in order to synthesize clear insights and make data-driven decisions.
• Hands on experience with a variety of business analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and advanced Excel preferred
• Experience working with senior executives and translating complex business analysis and research into strategic decision-making
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, compelling storytelling, and sophisticated presentation skills, including proficiency in Keynote and presenting to various levels of leadership.
