Position Overview: This is a full-time role created due to company growth, where you will support the buying team by managing seasonal buys and assortment planning independently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and has experience in apparel—preferably with kids’ and women’s products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage seasonal buys and assortment planning effectively.
- Work with production to place and track purchase orders, updating buy sheets and systems accordingly.
- Monitor deliveries and resolve discrepancies with partners.
- Manage purchase order changes, cancellations, and reorders.
- Coordinate and track sample requests, including organization of photoshoot samples.
- Enter and track sample orders within systems.
- Collaborate with licensors to maintain style master files and secure timely approvals for product submissions and packaging.
- Work with merchandising, planning, marketing, and creative teams to ensure accuracy of product information for campaigns and launches.
- Assist with new product setup and item data accuracy in systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales, inventory, and buy reports.
- Support planning by tracking sell-through, weeks-of-supply, and inventory levels to aid reorder and markdown decisions.
- Contribute to line reviews, seasonal meetings, and assortment presentations by preparing samples, boards, and decks.
- Provide general administrative support, reporting, and accurate data entry for the buying team.
Compensation: Competitive salary in the $80,000 range, less likely to exceed $90,000.
