Associate Manager, Sales Operations

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Manager, Sales Enablement (Audience & Auto.) to support sales enablement initiatives within a fast-paced advertising environment. This freelance opportunity is ideal for a project-focused professional who understands linear and addressable advertising, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and can help drive operational excellence across sales, product, and ad platform teams.
In this role, you will help manage roadmap initiatives, coordinate meetings, document decisions, track action items, and ensure deliverables stay on schedule. You will work closely with stakeholders across sales, operations, product, support, and technology teams to support new implementations, process improvements, testing efforts, and change management activities tied to ad sales platforms and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive project coordination across sales enablement initiatives, including meeting management, follow-ups, roadmap tracking, and status reporting.
- Support intake and execution of new initiatives involving ad platforms and order management systems.
- Partner with product, sales, operations, and technical teams to gather requirements and align business priorities.
- Help plan, test, and roll out new platform enhancements, workflows, and process improvements.
- Compile business use cases and assist in user acceptance testing for system updates and launches.
- Create and maintain change management materials, including overview decks, initiative summaries, key decisions, and impact documentation.
- Coordinate post-launch training sessions and documentation in partnership with support teams.
- Lead or support regular update meetings with leadership and stakeholders regarding roadmap progress and initiative status.
- Track backlog items, requested enhancements, vendor releases, and system improvement opportunities.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to leadership, end users, and cross-functional partners.
Preferred Background:
- 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in product management, ad operations, revenue operations, sales analytics, media planning, or a related function.
- Experience working within linear and addressable advertising environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with ad tech, sales, operations, and technology teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in different stages of development.
- Strong collaboration and consensus-building skills across teams and seniority levels.
- Ability to translate technical and operational concepts into clear business language.
