Associate Producer (Contract / Temporary)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – Onsite during key delivery windows)

2-month contract w/ potential to extend

A leading award-winning creative agency with over two decades of experience building highly engaged fan communities for entertainment brands is seeking a contract Associate Producer to support its production team.

This role plays a critical part in keeping projects on track by managing timelines, coordinating across departments, and supporting the post-production process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support to client-facing producers, post-production teams, and creatives
  • Maintain constant awareness of overall project needs and final deliverables
  • Update project schedules and internal tracking systems; communicate milestone changes to stakeholders
  • Support scope changes by flagging timeline impacts and coordinating cross-department updates
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings; take notes and follow up on action items
  • Assist with post-production delivery including legal/shot tracker maintenance, delivery matrices, and server organization
  • Coordinate external vendor prep including mix, VO, color, VFX, Flame, and composers
  • Support localization QC process and manage Frame.io links for internal/external review
  • Handle script transcriptions, footage organization, and fact-checking for review notes
  • Assist game capture and internal comms teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized multitasker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable managing up and providing timely updates to cross-functional teams
  • Confident in meetings and capable of driving follow-ups
  • Able to work onsite in the Los Angeles office during high-priority delivery periods
  • Passion for video games and entertainment is a plus
  • Prior agency experience is preferred but not required
