We are seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to support the Global Marketing Strategy & Operations team. This role plays a vital part in partnering across functions to manage and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial controls. The ideal candidate will have experience working in large corporate environments, bringing proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
Location: Remote, Eastern hours (US only applicants will be considered)
Rate: $30-37/hr
Duration: 1 year contract (includes benefits through 24Seven)
Key responsibilities include partnering with global marketing teams to oversee budget execution, managing purchase orders, invoice processing, and accruals. The coordinator will reconcile budget plans against actual spend using various datasets, create reports to track performance and identify risks, manage vendor relationships and billing transactions, and collaborate closely with Accounting on month-end close processes. Additionally, the role involves continuously refining operational processes and leading strategic projects to address gaps and improve efficiency.
This position requires strong technical expertise with Google Sheets and familiarity with financial management tools such as Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, and Pigment is highly desirable. The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting technical and financial questions and have a proactive, problem-solving mindset to support scaling operations across a global marketing organization.
