Centric PLM Implementation Manager

This role is responsible for driving the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of a Product Lifecycle Management system within an apparel environment. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to streamline product development processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Lead the rollout and continuous improvement of a PLM platform across multiple product categories
  • Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external system providers
  • Translate product development and merchandising needs into system functionality and workflows
  • Oversee product data governance, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved
  • Configure and maintain product structures, including attributes, materials, and specifications
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align digital tools with existing development processes
  • Support system testing, upgrades, and integrations to ensure optimal performance
  • Create user guides and conduct training sessions to support system adoption
  • Monitor usage, identify gaps, and implement enhancements to improve user experience
  • Drive change management efforts to support new tools and workflows
  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to system usage and efficiency
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout all project phases
  • Ensure system readiness in alignment with product development timelines

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product lifecycle management, apparel development, or related digital transformation roles
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end product creation processes within apparel or consumer goods
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing PLM systems such as Centric, FlexPLM, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of product data structures, including materials, specifications, and bill of materials
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and other supporting technologies is a plus
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel or Google Sheets and project management platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience working with global teams or external partners is preferred
