Marketing Specialist,Content Creator (Freelance)

Our healthcare client is seeking a proactive and skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time freelance basis. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role offers remote work flexibility or the option to be based in Minnetonka, MN. Over approximately 20 hours weekly—from end of November through early April—you will play a critical role in supporting the execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns that enhance our global healthcare services presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with launching and managing digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Pinterest, SEM, and targeted landing pages.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and support performance reporting to drive continuous improvement.
  • Generate and maintain accurate UTM links and tracking documentation to ensure campaign accountability.
  • Create and edit compelling digital content aligned with brand voice for websites and social media channels.
  • Support creative development by preparing mockups, reviewing visual assets, and utilizing tools like Canva for social media advertisements.
  • Collaborate effectively during team meetings and across departments, incorporating feedback and maintaining project alignment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by taking on additional marketing projects or ad hoc assignments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of digital marketing best practices and platforms including Meta Business Suite and Pinterest Ads.
  • Experience with campaign performance metrics and basic optimization techniques.
  • Strong copywriting skills geared toward digital media with an eye for accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Familiarity with design and creative support tools such as Canva.
  • Ability to effectively use productivity tools like Microsoft Office Suite and project management software including Workfront.
  • Experience or interest in healthcare marketing is preferred.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilot for content creation and data analysis to boost efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.
