Our client is a rapidly growing fine jewelry brand known for their modern, elevated designs and a strong focus on customization and customer experience. As we continue to scale our eCommerce operations, they are looking for a Digital Merchant to join our team and play a key role in driving the digital merchandising strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is excited to make a tangible impact on the digital shopping experience.
The Digital Merchant will support site merchandising and eCommerce operations, ensuring flawless execution and user experience across the site. This individual will be responsible for analyzing KPIs, optimizing the digital journey, and identifying opportunities for growth and performance improvements.
This is a hands-on role that combines strategy, execution, and analytics to enhance the overall digital shopping experience.
Develop and execute the weekly site strategy and roadmap in alignment with broader merchandising initiatives
Analyze KPIs to identify sales and conversion opportunities; share insights and recommendations with leadership
Monitor the competitive landscape to define digital merchandising standards and best practices
Manage product detail page (PDP) standards, including setup, optimization, and maintenance (attribution, imagery, copy)
Lead the coordination and delivery of site assets; manage content creators and provide creative direction aligned with brand standards
Own navigation, taxonomy, and collection page structure; optimize on-site search and product discoverability
Write, edit, and maintain all customer-facing copy on the website
Manage the eCommerce backend roadmap and work closely with the development team on site enhancements
Create and manage an A/B testing roadmap; analyze results and recommend next steps
Conduct regular site audits to ensure accuracy and identify future enhancements
Strong understanding of digital merchandising best practices and trends
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Creative, strategic, and technical thinker
4–6 years of experience in a digital merchandising or eCommerce role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, and Google Suite
Familiarity with wireframing tools is a plus
Fluent in digital KPIs and performance metrics
