Job description

Our client, a growing name in the e-commerce space has an immediate need for a Digital Producer/Project Manager. This is a remote freelance position (40 hours a week) through the end of the year with potential to extend. Must be US based, preferably in CST or EST time zone.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead site execution: Build, update, and maintain landing pages, product pages, and campaign hubs in Shopify — ensuring accuracy, visual polish, performance, and SEO excellence.

  • Own promotions: Create and QA promo codes, bundles, and offers in Shopify — partnering with Marketing and Lifecycle teams to guarantee a seamless customer experience.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Maintain site-production calendars, manage dependencies, and clearly communicate launch status and blockers via Asana.

  • QA & Launch new features across platforms: Collaborate with Product and Engineering on new feature rollouts; own end-to-end QA to ensure each release meets design specs, functional standards, and is search-optimized. Feature releases include Shopify, Recharge, Friendbuy, and Alia.

  • Manage A/B testing: Coordinate the setup, launch, and QA of A/B and multivariate tests using Shopify and third-party tools; ensure data integrity and tracking are validated.

  • Champion operational excellence: Continuously refine site-build processes, QA standards, and launch workflows

What We Would Like You to Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in site production or digital operations, ideally within a high-growth Tech company or DTC brand.

  • Deep Shopify expertise, including hands-on work with themes, Liquid, metafields, and custom sections.

  • Familiarity with Recharge (subscriptions) and related Shopify integrations (Klaviyo, Attentive, Friendbuy, GA4, Shoplift, etc.).

  • Proven success in launching high-visibility campaigns and features with rigorous QA and tight timelines.

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices — including metadata setup, structured data, URL hierarchy, image optimization, and page performance.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership

Skills & Tools:

  • Core Platforms: Shopify (advanced), Recharge, Klaviyo, Attentive, Friendbuy, Alia, Google Analytics 4

  • Testing & Optimization: Shoplift, Optimizely, or similar A/B testing tools

  • SEO & Performance: Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush or similar tools; working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices

  • Project Management: Asana (preferred), Monday.com or Jira

  • Collaboration & Design: Figma, Miro, Slack, Google Workspace

  • Technical Knowledge: HTML, CSS, Liquid (bonus points for basic JavaScript familiarity)
