Direct-Hire- Associate Technical Designer

A fast-growing fashion brand is seeking an Associate Technical Designer to join their team. This full-time hybrid role blends design and technical responsibilities, supporting seasonal collections from sketch through sample development.

Job Summary
This role supports the creative pipeline from concept through sample development, ensuring design intent, fit standards, and vendor communication are maintained. Key responsibilities include:

• Organizing and tracking fit samples, assisting in fittings, and updating overseas vendors

• Maintaining fitting logs, tracking sample status, and following up on proto/sample deadlines

• Creating and correcting CADs, flats, line sheets, and tech packs in Illustrator

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseas factories to resolve sample issues

• Building and maintaining tracking documents and seasonal logs in Excel

Key Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in fashion/technical design or product development

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, grading, and fit processes; experience supporting or leading fittings is a plus

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
