Direct Hire-Product Developer- Accessories-Onsite Los Angeles

A fast-growing fashion brand is seeking a Product Developer with a focus in Accessories.

Position Details

Role: Product Developer – Accessories & Special Collections (Jewelry, Headwear, Dog Accessories)
Location: Hybrid | Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Mon–Thurs onsite, Fri remote)
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid model
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, Employee Discount)

Key Responsibilities

• Track daily product development progress; maintain clear communication with overseas vendors and regularly update tracking documents

• Support fabric, trim, material, and heavy product sourcing; compile and present research to Design and Trend teams

• Manage multiple categories and seasonal deliverables in alignment with the Product Development calendar

• Collaborate closely with Design, Development, Production, and Trend teams to ensure accurate and timely execution

• Create and maintain order forms for all seasonal development styles

• Assist with seasonal sample preparation, photoshoot samples, and line/trend reviews

• Ensure all products meet brand DNA, margin goals, and delivery targets

• Ideal candidate can also create Tech Packs for accessories and specialty products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in apparel or accessories product development

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel

• Strong eye for trend, color, fabric, trims, and garment construction

• Skilled in creating detailed tech packs and collaborating across cross-functional teams

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
