An established beauty and lifestyle company is seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to lead brand strategy, drive growth, and elevate brand equity. This role oversees all aspects of brand communication—from long-term positioning to day-to-day execution across campaigns, product storytelling, PR, and partnerships. The ideal candidate brings a strong pulse on industry trends, digital innovation, and emerging cultural moments that influence consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Brand Leadership
Define and own the long-term brand vision and annual marketing roadmap in alignment with business goals.
Establish brand positioning, messaging hierarchy, and value proposition across all consumer touchpoints.
Ensure a cohesive brand identity and voice across platforms, campaigns, and communications.
Create and manage brand and product guidelines, toolkits, and core assets for cross-functional use.
Innovation & Product Marketing
Lead go-to-market planning for new product collections, seasonal launches, and brand extensions.
Develop compelling product narratives—including positioning, messaging, claims, and educational content.
Leverage consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market trends to inform strategy and identify whitespace.
Integrated Marketing Execution
Oversee the planning and rollout of multi-channel marketing initiatives across paid media, PR, social, eCommerce, experiential, and brand partnerships.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute 360° campaigns.
Bonus: Experience in both DTC and retail/omnichannel marketing environments is a plus.
Business Performance & Budgeting
Own and manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring smart allocation and ROI-driven decisions.
Partner with analytics and finance teams to evaluate performance and refine strategies based on results.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing brand marketing team.
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners across product, creative, eComm, sales, and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
8–12 years of progressive experience in brand marketing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in brand building, product launches, and campaign execution across channels.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide strategic decisions.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills; highly collaborative and solutions-oriented.
Background in beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle categories preferred.
