Director of Analytics
Location: Miami
Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Tue–Thu, Remote Mon/Fri)
A highly experienced and strategic Director of Analytics is needed to lead data intelligence efforts and turn raw data into actionable insights for both internal teams and clients. This leadership role will define the organization’s data strategy, elevate standards for data visualization and reporting, and develop advanced analytical models that demonstrate and enhance the value of digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong data storytelling abilities, deep expertise in marketing analytics platforms, and a proven record of translating complex data into meaningful business strategy.
Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Infrastructure Leadership
- Own the vision, design, and implementation of all client-facing and internal data visualization products (dashboards, scorecards, etc.). Establish best practices for data presentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability.
- Ensure data integrity across marketing channels and client accounts; partner with technical teams to optimize data pipelines and maintain a reliable single source of truth.
- Evaluate, recommend, and manage analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Power BI, marketing cloud systems) that support client value delivery.
Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation
- Lead the development, maintenance, and interpretation of multi-touch attribution models to measure channel and campaign performance impact.
- Build and execute segmentation strategies (e.g., LTV, propensity models, clustering) to inform media and strategy teams with actionable audience insights.
- Design and oversee A/B testing and incrementality frameworks to validate hypotheses and quantify financial impact of marketing initiatives.
Reporting & Client Consultation
- Standardize and oversee reporting processes to ensure insights are strategic, relevant, and actionable—not just data-heavy.
- Serve as the senior analytics subject matter expert in client meetings, translating complex analytics into clear recommendations that guide marketing and budget decisions.
- Mentor and lead a team of analysts as the function grows, fostering data literacy, analytical rigor, and continuous learning across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years in data analytics (with a strong focus on digital marketing) and at least 3 years in a leadership/Director role. Prior agency experience is a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency with analytics platforms (especially GA4), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio), and SQL.
- Deep expertise in statistical modeling including regression, time-series forecasting, and marketing attribution methodologies (e.g., Shapley value, econometrics).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, with proven experience presenting complex data strategies to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science preferred).
