Freelance- Intimatates Technical Designer- Onsite- Manhattan NY

A Very well-known Fashion brand is looking for a Freelance Intimates Technical Designer. This role supports the technical design process from development through final fit, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors to ensure fit, quality, and construction standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
• Execute the technical design process from development through final fit approval
• Analyze garments and develop accurate fit specifications aligned with design and quality standards
• Write and communicate clear fit comments and pattern corrections to vendors and factories
• Participate in and/or lead fittings
• Maintain tech packs, BOMs, and approval records
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and Sourcing teams

Qualifications
•7+ years of technical design experience, preferably in intimates or apparel
• Experience using Centric PLM, Flex PLM, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel
• Ability to independently own fittings and clearly communicate fit corrections
• Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and effective communication
