Freelance- Sr Designer (RTW)

The Sr. Freelance Designer will be responsible for creating and executing seasonal designs from concept through proto development, line edits, and fit sessions. This role requires strong expertise in soft wovens and dresses, with the ability to deliver elevated, brand-right styles and collaborate closely with design, product development, tech, and R&D teams.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and execute seasonal concepts, fabric/trim selections, and construction/fit direction

• Create technical sketches, design cards, BOMs, and POMs in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop

• Manage proto development, fittings, and line edits for Fall ’26, Winter ’26, and Spring ’27

• Provide expert fabric/trim/fit feedback and resolve design-related issues

• Ensure production-ready accuracy and timeliness throughout the development cycle

Key Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in design with a focus on soft woven blouses and dresses at contemporary or luxury level

• Elevated design aesthetic and strong knowledge of woven construction, fabric properties, and tailoring

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop; PLM experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

• Ability to work fully onsite in Los Angeles
