Freelance- Sr Patternmaker- Onsite- Los Angeles

A leading apparel brand is seeking a highly experienced Patternmaker to support activewear development. This is a hands-on role focused on precision, fit, and performance, working closely with design and technical teams to bring product to life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop original, production-ready patterns aligned with brand standards
• Translate design sketches into accurate, executable patterns
• Conduct fittings and make adjustments to ensure optimal fit and performance
• Utilize Gerber, Lectra, or similar CAD systems for digital patternmaking
• Maintain detailed documentation of pattern revisions and updates
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Stay current on fabrics, construction methods, and performance apparel trends

Qualifications:
• Minimum 15 years of patternmaking experience with a strong focus on activewear
• Deep expertise in garment construction, grading, and fit standards
• Proficiency in both manual and digital patternmaking (Gerber)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
