Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Retail Operations to lead multi-unit store operations across the California market. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing the customer experience, and delivering strong business performance across retail locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in retail operations, team development, and cross-functional partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead retail store teams across the Greater Los Angeles area, ensuring consistent execution of operational strategies and company standards.
  • Drive performance across key business metrics, including sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and brand growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with departments such as marketing, merchandising, design, logistics, and real estate to support business initiatives and expansion plans.
  • Evaluate store performance through regular site visits, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing clear, actionable guidance to store leadership.
  • Ensure consistency in service, presentation, and operational processes across all locations.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, coaching, and development of store managers and their teams.
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions and operational enhancements.
  • Strengthen and scale standard operating procedures to support efficiency, growth, and long-term success.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and labor requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in retail operations management.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing multiple retail locations across the United States.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service standards, and team leadership best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and deliver measurable business results.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in women’s apparel retail is preferred.
  • Bilingual Chinese language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed for business.
