  • Research materials, manufacturing processes, user needs, and market trends to inform design decisions
  • Support design reviews by preparing clear presentations, specifications, and documentation
  • Participate in user testing and apply insights to enhance product functionality, ergonomics, and aesthetics
  • Iterate designs based on feedback, testing, and cost analyses while maintaining design intent
  • Maintain organized records of design iterations, drawings, specifications, and project timelines
  • Ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the development cycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a closely related field
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in industrial or product design
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Procreate for visualization and presentations
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, metal fabrication, assembly) and common materials
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, aesthetics, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven technical design skills, including the creation of detailed drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and eco-friendly materials

  • Prior work experience or internships in a manufacturing, consumer products, or product design environment
  • Understanding of ergonomic principles, human factors, and user-centered design methodologies
