Jr. Copywriter (Fashion + eCommerce)

We are seeking a Jr. Copywriter with 1+ year of experience to support compelling, customer-focused content across eCommerce and promotional retail marketing channels. This role is ideal for a strong emerging writer with a sharp eye for fashion, brand voice, and digital storytelling, particularly within Product Description Pages (PDPs), online merchandising, and campaign copy.
The Jr. Copywriter will help create clear, engaging, and conversion-minded copy that supports the online customer journey and strengthens the brand across digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Write and optimize eCommerce copy for Product Description Pages (PDPs), including product names, feature/benefit descriptions, and brand-right product storytelling
- Develop promotional retail marketing copy for site banners, landing pages, emails, paid social, and other digital campaign assets
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, creative, and eCommerce teams to ensure copy aligns with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and business priorities
- Translate product details into concise, engaging, and customer-friendly messaging that supports conversion
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and voice across all customer-facing copy
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand standards
- Support content updates and revisions based on promotional calendars, product changes, and stakeholder feedback
- Balance speed, detail, and quality while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications
- 1+ year of copywriting experience, preferably in fashion, retail, eCommerce, or consumer brands
- Experience writing PDP copy, eCommerce product content, and promotional marketing materials
- Strong understanding of digital commerce best practices and customer-first writing
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging across different audiences and channels
- Comfort working cross-functionally and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Interest in fashion, apparel, and retail trends is strongly preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience working with content management systems, eCommerce platforms, or product information systems
- Portfolio showcasing product copy, digital marketing copy, or retail campaign work
- Understanding of SEO best practices for product and category page content
