About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing consumer brands organization focused on building and scaling trend-driven products across fashion, accessories, and home categories. Partnering with major retailers and digital platforms, they bring thoughtfully designed, commercially strong product collections to market at speed.

They operate in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where team members are encouraged to take initiative, own their responsibilities, and contribute ideas. If you thrive in a setting where every day is different and you’re close to the product and the customer, this could be an excellent fit.

Position Summary

The Sales Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the sales team, helping to grow and maintain key retail and e-commerce accounts. This is a hands-on role suited for someone early in their career who is organized, curious, and eager to understand how wholesale and retail partnerships work.

You will help manage sales tools and data, coordinate with internal departments, and support communication with external partners to keep programs running smoothly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a daily point of support for Sales Managers on assigned accounts, assisting with follow-ups, data requests, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Create, update, and distribute sales tools such as product catalogs, assortment sheets, sell-in decks, and pricing documents.
  • Assist with product and account setup by entering, validating, and maintaining accurate information in internal systems and customer portals.
  • Generate and maintain basic reports on sales performance, inventory positions, and order status; highlight discrepancies or trends as needed.
  • Monitor purchase orders from entry through shipment, partnering with operations and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Help prepare for customer meetings, line reviews, and virtual or in-person presentations, including sample coordination and meeting recaps.
  • Maintain an organized library of product samples and marketing materials, ensuring they are current, properly labeled, and ready for use.
  • Support communication with retail partners by responding to routine requests for product information, imagery, tickets, and documentation.
  • Keep digital files, trackers, and shared folders organized so sales information is easy to access and up to date.
  • Assist with special initiatives such as new product launches, seasonal planning cycles, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, account coordination, customer service, or a related administrative function; experience in consumer products, wholesale, or retail is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working with numbers, pricing, and customer data.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with both internal partners and external customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); experience with CRM, ERP, or retail portals is beneficial.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, basic data analysis, and reporting.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Interest in consumer brands, retail, and learning how products move from development to shelf.

What Our Client Offers

  • Direct exposure to major retail and e-commerce accounts and the full sales cycle.
  • Opportunities for training, growth, and progression within a supportive, fast-paced team.
  • A culture that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package aligned with experience and performance.
