Job description

A full-service marketing agency specializing in face-to-face marketing and high-impact sales campaigns for well-known national clients is seeking a Lead Analyst with strong lead generation analytics experience to join our Analytics and FP&A team. This is a high-impact role ideal for a strategic thinker with excellent analytical capabilities and a strong drive to improve campaign performance and profitability.

This person will lead financial and operational reporting across multiple campaigns that rely on a lead generation sales model, working cross-functionally with executive leadership, finance, sales, and client teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze quality metrics associated with lead generation campaigns to understand cost of marketing and optimize strategy.
  • Serve as the primary financial and operational contact for multiple client accounts.
  • Own and manage end-to-end campaign analysis—tracking performance, recommending improvements, and driving profitability.
  • Partner directly with clients and stakeholders to review campaign data, provide actionable insights, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain pro-forma P&Ls, compensation structures, and forecasting models.
  • Identify trends, develop operational targets, and contribute to executive-level reporting and decision-making.
  • Use large, complex data sets to validate commissions, build forecasts, and improve business processes.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across departments to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, financial planning, or operations, preferably in a lead generation model or performance-based marketing environment.
  • Strong command of Tableau, especially calculated fields and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, modeling).
  • Proven success in financial/operational modeling and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience handling and analyzing large, complex datasets; database literacy is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
