24 Seven is partnering with a top global sportswear client to help them find a Marketing Operations Lead for this onsite position in Boston, MA. This is an 8 month contract with potential to extend working 4 days a week onsite. While on contract, you’d be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Ideal Candidate: will be a Bachelor’s-level marketer (or have equivalent experience) with 3–5 years in retail brand/account marketing, skilled in building consumer journeys and retail programs, and fluent in retail, merchandising, consumer experience, and multi-channel marketing.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Lead to join our client’s Global Stores team. In this role, you’ll shape and execute 365 retail marketing strategies that bring impactful storytelling to life, drive consumer engagement, and increase traffic and conversion. You’ll lead projects from concept to execution, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure seamless collaboration across internal teams, global partners, and external vendors.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and collaborative, with strong skills in communication, brief development, and project management. A passion for how consumers experience brands through product, platforms, and people—paired with a drive to challenge convention—will make you successful in this role.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will be the driver of retail marketing plans from inception to creation, and to execution. Your marketing approach will support larger brand and retail priorities, create distinction and contribute to connected, 365 storytelling across the marketplace.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Retail Marketing Strategy: Lead integrated marketing plans and journeys for retail stores, from briefs and feedback to deployment and post-launch insights.

  • Retail Concepts Marketing: Develop retail marketing strategies and principles (brand filters, zoning, visual standards) and partner with cross-functional teams to shape 365 consumer journeys.

  • 365 Retail Standards: Oversee product presentation and visual merchandising strategies, creating global toolkits and training with design and training partners.

  • Store Signage: Manage creation and rollout of in-store signage for promotions, product hierarchy, CRM, and operations to ensure consistency and drive conversion.

  • CRM & Traffic Driving: Partner with CRM to create strategies that attract new consumers, engage existing ones, and support geographies with frameworks for execution.

  • Market Visits: Conduct visits to assess execution and competition, providing feedback and recommendations to improve future plans and experiences.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably with a focus on retail brand/account marketing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
• Experience developing retail consumer journeys and programming at retail
• Understanding of retail, visual merchandising, marketplace, consumer experience, and multi-channel marketing
• Understanding of digital platforms including Apps, Email, SEO, Performance Marketing and Social Media
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects while remaining detail-oriented and able to deliver against functional deadlines
• Ability to lead marketing plan development and execution process end-to-end
• Experience with managing budgets, authoring marketing briefs and working with external agencies
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
• Analytical skills and business acumen. Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization
• Ability to travel domestically
