Marketing Specialist

– CONTRACT
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: January 5th, 2026 – December 31st, 2026

About the Role

Our healthcare client is seeking a detail-oriented and agile Marketing Specialist to support consumer-facing communication initiatives that drive marketing objectives aligned with clinical outcomes and enterprise goals. This role partners closely with senior marketers and a collaborative team to execute marketing campaigns focused on Medicare and retiree member engagement.

This position is primarily tactical and involves managing multiple campaign-related tasks to ensure on-time execution and adherence to compliance and brand standards. The Marketing Specialist will record and track campaign data, manage versioning and bundling of marketing materials, and coordinate cross-functional communications across marketing, creative, legal, regulatory, and product teams.

Although currently scoped as fully remote, note that evolving company policies may require occasional onsite work in Minnesota (4 days/week) if converted to a full-time employee role. The contractor role duration is 12 months, with potential for increased responsibilities such as independent campaign management or project ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute recurring marketing campaign processes with accuracy and urgency, including versioning, production crosswalks, campaign setup, and task management to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain comprehensive campaign and project documentation, ensuring all procedures and records are up to date.
  • Coordinate across multiple internal teams—Marketing, Creative, Legal, Regulatory, Product—to ensure smooth campaign progression and compliance.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to provide status updates and manage expectations.
  • Apply brand, compliance, and client standards consistently to all marketing communications.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Workfront) for scheduling touchpoints, reviewing digital proofs, and tracking campaign updates weekly.
  • Identify and anticipate marketer and business needs to support campaign success.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of marketing operations, creative traffic, or project management experience within a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with project management software, preferably Workfront, and Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel).
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting swiftly to new platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset focused on campaign efficacy.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

  • Familiarity with Tableau, Vizio, Adobe AEM, and Workfront is a plus.
  • Experience managing bill of materials (BOM) and direct mail projects.
  • Aptitude for connecting detailed work to broader Medicare and company strategic objectives.

Additional Information

This role reports to a dynamic marketing leadership team that values attention to detail, adaptability, and strong organizational discipline. Our team environment thrives on clear communication, proactive problem solving, and reliability to meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing healthcare marketing landscape.
