Job description

Title: Media Analyst

A leading media company is seeking a Media Analyst for a freelance contractor role based in NYC.

Duration: 12/1/25 – 4/24/26
Hybrid: in office Monday -Thursday (Friday remote)
Rate: $25-33 (DOE)

This entry-level position is with the Ad Sales Insights & Measurement team, focused on delivering cross-platform campaign measurement and insights for major 2026 sporting events. The Analyst will analyze advertising campaign effectiveness, track sponsorship results, and communicate findings through reports and presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and analyzing data from research tools, dashboards, and files across linear, streaming, and social platforms
  • Creating compelling PowerPoint presentations to share insights and recommendations
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate campaign measurement
  • Supporting team priorities and initiatives for key tentpole events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods (survey design, data analysis)
  • Preferred experience in media, advertising agencies, or research vendors
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with attribution measurement partners a plus (i.e Kantar, Dynata, EDO, Marketcast)

This role requires a passion for media and entertainment, a curiosity for data storytelling, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
