The Role —

The Media Integration Support role assists in many tasks involved with producing and monitoring content sets. Support tasks will include but not be limited to the tracking of incoming digital media assets and coordinating quality control, technical compliance and status within internal departments. The Media Integration Support role can assist in all facets of the content production build and QA function. The main focus of the Media Integration Support is to assist the team with a variety of content integration tasks (testing/validation) and building monthly production content sets.

The Media Integration Support typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department and will also work under a ‘lead’ who is assigned to their specific team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support team with media testing procedures which includes cross referencing content tracking sheets, verifying content, and confirming proper display on RDUs (remote display units)
  • Validates quality of content and technical compliance including audio/video sync issues, language verification, aspect ratios and metadata correctness
  • Record vendor problems, concerns, missed internal testing errors, and flag to appropriate MIS in a time sensitive manner
  • Support in routine work/test instructions to ensure the consistency and production quality of all content sets leaving the office and being fielded
  • Verification of SD cards, duplication
  • Participate in alternative production tasks, assigned by MIS team, during low workflow
  • Ensure lab rules are followed including security, cleanliness, layout

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:

  • 1-3 years of experience in systems integration or digital media post production environment
  • 1-3 years of experience in In-Flight Entertainment industry
  • Meticulous file maintenance skills
  • Proficient, working knowledge of Excel, and Word processing programs

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Team player
  • Must be proactive, meticulous, organized, and detail oriented
  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction
  • Willing to learn other functions within the Media Solutions Operations Department
  • Ability to analytically resolve issues and problems, to maintain work flow, quality, and on-time delivery
