About the Role
A design studio focused in luxury, art, interiors, and architecture is seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to join its Los Angeles team. This is a hands-on, creative role for a designer who moves fluidly between concept and execution—someone who brings both artistic sensitivity and technical precision to their work.
The ideal candidate has experience developing furniture, lighting, and sculptural objects that embody sophistication and craftsmanship, while contributing to a broader creative narrative across disciplines. You’ll collaborate closely with design leadership to evolve ideas from sketch to prototype, supporting projects that define contemporary luxury and cultural design.
This is a full-time, in-studio role (five days per week) in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive design development across product categories, from concept sketches to production-ready deliverables.
- Produce detailed drawings, models, and renderings that communicate intent across creative and technical teams.
- Research materials, processes, and finishes to inform innovative and high-quality outcomes.
- Partner with fabrication teams, vendors, and internal collaborators to ensure seamless execution and design integrity.
- Participate in creative reviews and contribute original ideas that push aesthetic boundaries.
- Support organization and upkeep of materials, prototypes, and reference archives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in product, furniture, or interior design, ideally within a luxury, design, or cultural environment.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; rendering skills (KeyShot or similar) preferred.
- A balance of conceptual thinking and technical expertise, with strong spatial awareness and an eye for proportion.
- Understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and production processes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to articulate design rationale clearly.
- Collaborative mindset and appreciation for artistry, detail, and the dialogue between design, architecture, and culture.
What You’ll Gain
- The opportunity to create work that bridges art, design, and architecture, contributing to projects at multiple scales.
- Creative autonomy within a highly collaborative, design-driven studio culture.
- Exposure to a full spectrum of product development—from idea generation to final fabrication.
- A chance to grow within an environment that celebrates craftsmanship, innovation, and modern luxury.
