Paid Marketing Lead
Temp, possible Perm
Remote, eastern hours

Our client is looking for a Paid Marketing Lead with strong experience across PPC. Must have experience leading and mentoring a team as well as fostering client and stakeholder relationships through strategy, collaboration and results-oriented conversations.

Key Results & Leadership:

  • Lead a team of Performance Analysts, managing activities across multiple brands.
  • Establish team and individual goals.
  • Lead and motivate the team daily, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
  • Delegate work strategically to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Share knowledge and upskill the team in new areas of performance marketing, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Maintain quality standards across all team interactions.
  • Support the team with day-to-day account operations.

PPC Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end PPC deliverables from strategy development through setup, management, and creative execution.
  • Lead ongoing management and optimization of Google and Microsoft Bing PPC accounts to improve quality, cost, and conversion efficiency.
  • Expand accounts by monitoring keyword performance and implementing account growth strategies based on keyword research.
  • Design and execute tests (e.g., AB tests), analyze results, and identify insights to maximize ROI.
  • Write and optimize PPC copy and manage landing page changes in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Paid Social & Online Display:

  • Manage and optimize paid social and display ads to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and conversion rates.
  • Oversee online display campaigns, Google Discovery, and Ad-roll to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Grow paid social media activities by testing new creatives, captions, ad placements, and optimizing audience targeting.
  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and extract insights to maximize ROI.

Reporting:

  • Own comprehensive data analysis and reporting, presenting strategic insights to stakeholders.
  • Create dynamic reports that communicate complex data simply and effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Ensure report quality, consistency, and value while driving innovation in data-driven insights.
  • Manage performance marketing data and growth results across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly KPIs.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Utilize digital marketing tools such as SmartLook, Google Analytics, and Google Data Studio to gain detailed insights into user behavior.
  • Identify key drop-off points in the conversion funnel.
  • Regularly conduct testing to improve on-site CRO and implement optimization improvements based on findings.
  • Measure and report outcomes, striving for incremental improvements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure highest quality leads through onsite CRO changes.

Ad-Hoc Projects:

  • Act as a proactive senior team member by learning from senior management and seeking improvement opportunities.
  • Lead ideas from concept through to high-quality delivery.
  • Assist with projects, campaigns, and tasks as defined by senior management.

Marketing:

  • Understand user touchpoints and enhance customer experience by improving processes.
  • Maintain brand consistency and high standards across all touchpoints.
  • Serve as a custodian for embedding mission and values throughout marketing activities.
