Paid Social Manager (Full-Time)

Our client is a growing integrated marketing agency in the brand communications and digital advertising space seeking a hands-on Paid Social Lead to lead paid social strategy and execution across our client portfolio. This is the senior-most paid social role in the agency and is ideal for an operator who thrives in platforms, owns outcomes, and is confident in front of clients.

Role Summary

The Paid Social Manager will be the primary owner of paid social programs across multiple brands, with a heavy emphasis on Meta platforms. You will architect and manage campaigns across the full funnel (awareness, lead generation, and e-commerce), ensure accurate tracking and measurement, and provide clear reporting and recommendations to clients and internal teams. You will also support additional channels such as TikTok and LinkedIn, and oversee partnership/influencer amplification programs.

This is not an organic social or pure brand strategy role. It is a platform-heavy, analytics-driven, client-facing position for someone who is comfortable leading the work, making decisions, and being the expert in the room.

Key Responsibilities
Platform & Campaign Execution

  • Lead Meta strategy and execution across awareness, traffic, lead generation, and sales campaigns.
  • Build and manage account structures, including campaign setup, audiences, exclusions, budgets, placements, naming conventions, and QA.
  • Own tracking and measurement implementation across Pixel, CAPI, Aggregated Event Measurement, custom events, and custom conversions.
  • Set up and troubleshoot lead-generation campaigns, including instant forms, conversion flows, and lead-quality tracking.
  • Manage e-commerce campaign setup and optimization, including catalogs, feeds, dynamic product ads, Advantage+ Shopping, collection ads, and other conversion formats.
  • Run partnership and influencer/creator amplification campaigns on Meta, including permissions, workflow management, and performance optimization.
  • Support TikTok Ads execution and optimization for select clients.
  • Apply working familiarity with LinkedIn Ads; deeper hands-on experience is a plus but not required.

Optimization, Testing & Creative Collaboration

  • Independently diagnose performance issues and bottlenecks across accounts.
  • Develop and run structured A/B tests across creative, audiences, offers, placements, bid strategies, and campaign structures, with clear hypotheses and documented outcomes.
  • Brief creative teams on test concepts, asset requirements, and performance-informed creative direction.
  • Make thoughtful manual optimizations based on performance data and clearly articulate the rationale behind changes.

Budget Management & Financial Stewardship

  • Own budget pacing and delivery across all assigned accounts, proactively flagging over- and under-spend.
  • Make and document spend allocation decisions with clear business logic.
  • Recommend budget shifts based on performance insights and clearly communicate those recommendations to clients.

Client Relationship & Communication

  • Participate in recurring client calls as the paid social subject matter expert.
  • Present performance updates and insights, highlighting wins, risks, and go-forward recommendations.
  • Proactively manage expectations, including addressing underperformance with context, learnings, and an action plan.
  • Build trust through technical credibility, transparency, and consistent follow-through.

Reporting & Operations

  • Build and maintain internal and client-facing dashboards in Looker Studio using Supermetrics.
  • QA data sources and troubleshoot discrepancies between platform and dashboard reporting.
  • Deliver clear weekly and monthly reporting that includes results, drivers, insights, risks, and next steps.
  • Develop SOPs, QA checklists, and internal best practices to help scale the paid social function efficiently.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4–6 years of hands-on paid social experience (5+ years preferred), primarily focused on Meta platforms.
  • Deep Meta expertise across setup, optimization, troubleshooting, tracking, and account QA.
  • Proven experience running full-funnel campaigns: awareness, lead generation, and e-commerce.
  • Experience managing partnership ads and influencer/creator amplification workflows on Meta.
  • Some direct, hands-on experience with TikTok Ads.
  • Experience with Looker Studio and Supermetrics, including owning dashboards and conducting reporting QA.
  • Strong creative testing instincts: able to design tests, brief creative teams, and connect results to business outcomes.
  • Agency background strongly preferred; must be comfortable owning accounts end-to-end, not just supporting a senior lead.
  • Comfortable in client-facing environments: presenting, fielding detailed questions, and managing expectations under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and pacing across multiple accounts simultaneously.

Certification

  • Meta Certified Media Buying Professional strongly preferred.
