Our client is seeking a Photo Retoucher in the Stockton, CA area that is available to start ASAP and work through the end of March 2026. This is an onsite contract opportunity working 16-40 hours a week depending on the work load (schedule set a month in advance).
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce image editing, color correction, and retouching, as well as familiarity with lifestyle photography. You will play a key role in enhancing visual content and ensuring all images meet the highest standards for online marketing and product representation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit, color correct, and retouch e-commerce product images to ensure high-quality and consistent presentation across our website and marketing materials.
• Work on lifestyle images, ensuring proper retouching and enhancement that aligns with brand aesthetics.
• Download images from the clipping service and manage files for processing and archiving on our digital DAM and server.
• Prepare high-resolution images for website uploads, ensuring proper formatting, size, and color accuracy.
• Upload and update product images to the website via FTP, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Update and maintain spreadsheets for image tracking, processing status, and archive management.
• Work closely with studio teams to ensure images align with branding, campaigns, and product listings.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in photo retouching, preferably in an e-commerce or marketing setting.
• Expertise in image editing with Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, polished images.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce image requirements, including color correction, product retouching, and web optimization.
• Familiarity with FTP systems for image uploading and management.
• Experience working with lifestyle photography, including portrait and environmental shots, and ability to match the brand’s aesthetic.
• Experience with Salesforce Creative Cloud is a plus
